Personal/Hobbies
I’ve been an artist my whole life, and a gamer since the Commodore 64 – Ha! Am I dating myself here? Many Consoles and devices later, games like Call of Duty, The Sims, and Clash of Clans have shaped a large part of my life. Needless to say, I’ve always loved the gaming industry, and I’m proud to be part of it by combining my talent as an artist into games for everyone to enjoy! Although gaming has consumed countless all-nighters both leisurely and professionally, I also enjoyed my role as a Lead Character Designer & Rigging Supervisor in the Animation Television world in my earlier years. Now a days, you will find me unwinding in front of my cintiq working on my hobbies, painting whatever I feel like! Not only is drawing and digital painting something I enjoy, it’s a craving! Below is a small sample of the things I love to paint and do in my spare time.
Software: Photoshop CC, Illustrator, Flash, Clip Studio
Handmade Projects: Cardstock, Pro Markers, Copic Markers, various embelishments, handmade flowers, ribbon, Zip Dry Glue
Character Designs / Avatar Creators
I’m adaptable to many different styles, whether its 3D looking avatars or 2D vector characters, if you can dream it, I can draw it! It is incredibly important to maintain the integrity of characters for our clients such as DreamWorks, DC, the zany style of Bob & Doug McKenzie, or whatever reference style my directors prefer. Below are a few samples of Avatar Creator games and character designs. I was the Lead Illustrator on the samples below. I created hundreds of assets on some these projects and worked closely with the director and developers.

Game Comps, Concepts, Marketing & Photo Manipulation
Below are some samples of concept art I had to create for various Pitches, Game Compositions, or Marketing Campaigns. I have experience with photo manipulation combined with illustrations. I had to be very adaptable to a style and create game comps in a very short amount of time.
Spark City World: Lead Illustrator – Isometric Backgrounds & Asset Creations
I was hired as the new Lead Illustrator for Spark City World which was an already established internal project. It was my job to revamp and update the old worlds and also create new worlds and fun areas for the users to go and “hang out”. Not only did I created isometric backgrounds, I also created hundreds of avatar assets and prop packs; some requiring animation such as lighting effects, sparkles, dance floors, and water. At the same time I trained Junior illustrators how to use the new rig templates I created. I also checked quality of illustrations & animations before implementing into the game. Many new features were added to the game such as boys, pets and vehicles. I was a very active participant with ideas for upcoming features. I learnt a lot from my director and enjoyed brainstorming ideas with her.

Character Design with Rotations & Model Sheets
Below is a small sample of the Character Designs I created for various projects. I designed hundreds of characters, rigged, and animated mouth charts blinks and expressions for the main characters and secondary characters where needed.
Animation Supervisor
You may require Flash Player to view the animations samples below. As Lead Illustrator and Animation Supervisor on Spark City World, I created several basic animations to bring life to the worlds. Although I no longer animate, I still oversee the animations required for all of our games. Together the Animator and myself collaborate on what is required. I usually allow my team the freedom to express themselves, but sometimes when there are specific requirements, I give the animator a descriptive list and napkin sketches (if required) for what I would like to see happen. If it is a major project, I tend to give a contact sheet with the requirements needed. This contact sheet is also sent to the clients for approval.
